Green Hiring Pulse: Singapore & Hong Kong
What a company actually thinks of sustainability roles is written in the jobs it pays to post with salaries printed, not in its annual report. This page maps the green-collar postings observed daily by this site to listed companies and institutions, into one board of who is putting money on the table. Observation currently concentrates on Singapore and Hong Kong, with the Taiwan pipeline under construction. Every cell carries its sample size: this is what we saw, not everything an employer posted.

Aggregated 2026-08-18 (recomputed with the daily sweep; if the pipeline stops, this date stops moving)
All four figures above cover Singapore and Hong Kong only. The ledger also holds 9 UK postings, residue from the early salary ledger and outside the scope of this board, kept honestly in the coverage table below: 118 postings and 90 employers ledger-wide, against 81 employers here. Those UK rows carry a different currency and pay period, and folding them into one ranking would misread both sides, so the board covers Singapore and Hong Kong only as well.
Data layers: backfill and daily observation are different things
The ledger behind this board holds two layers of records of different quality. Daily-observation layer, 50 postings: revisited automatically every day since 2026-07-21, confirmed still up day by day. Backfilled layer, 68 postings: replayed from the salary ledger, reaching back to 2025-11-13, but each carries only a first-seen and a last-seen date, so its “days up” is a head-to-tail estimate, not a daily confirmation. Most long-duration signals come from the backfilled layer; read them as estimated lower bounds.
Market coverage, as it actually is
The automated daily sweep currently covers salary-disclosed postings in Singapore only; Hong Kong and UK rows come from the salary ledger and manual filing at uneven frequency. The Taiwan pipeline is under construction, and until it ships its count stays at 0. No padding, no renaming.

Who is actually hiring for sustainability
Ranked by cumulative postings observed, with the last 30 days beside it. Corporate employers, public institutions and recruitment agencies are listed separately: those three kinds of postings say three different things, and one mixed table would contaminate all of them.

Agencies (end employer unnamed)
These postings are placed by recruitment agencies; the end client paying for the role is unnamed. This block measures agency-market activity, not agencies growing their own teams. Tickers on these rows belong to the agency’s own parent company: they identify the intermediary and carry no hiring signal for that ticker.

A further 49 employers on the Singapore and Hong Kong ledger are thin samples (mostly single observations) and do not appear on this board. The sample data pack holds 10 stratified rows, not the full list of those 49, and no full list is published anywhere on this site today. Stating that up front.
SG–HK Sustainability Hiring Monthly (Taiwan coverage in progress)
The cumulative figures in this section are ledger-wide and include the 9 UK postings, so they differ from the Singapore and Hong Kong figures at the top of the page: 109 postings and 81 employers there, 118 and 90 here. Both are correct; the only difference is whether the UK residue is counted. Cite the definition with the number.
August 2026 · Inaugural issue (figures as of 2026-08-18)
This report does one thing: it turns the month’s observed green-collar postings into traceable statistics. Every figure resolves to specific postings in the ledger. Nothing here comes from surveys, press releases, or model estimates.
Volume observed this month (calendar month)
From 1 August to 2026-08-18, 45 green-collar postings were newly observed, from 40 employers. The ledger now holds 118 postings across 90 employers, with the earliest record reaching back to 2025-11-13 (backfilled; see the data-layers note at the top). Mind the definitions: the “last 30 days” stat at the top runs back from the latest sweep date, while this section uses the calendar month, so the two figures are not meant to match.
Function mix (salary-ledger basis)
Postings entering the salary ledger this month, by function. Classification is a fixed keyword table, not a model; postings whose seniority cannot be read enter no cell.

Salary bands
The 33 Singapore monthly-salary postings entering the ledger this month disclosed bands between S$2,500 and S$25,000, with a median band midpoint of S$7,000. These are figures the postings printed themselves, not estimates; at n=33, read them as observations, not as market rates.
Three signals worth noting
- 1.Agency share: of 45 postings newly observed this month, 8 (about 18%) were posted by recruitment agencies without naming the end client. Part of the answer to “who is hiring” sits behind agencies; this is a direct measurement of the market’s confidentiality preference.
- 2.Long-running postings: of 118 postings observed to date, 3 have an observation span longer than 45 days. The longest span (SG) runs from a first sighting on 2025-11-13 to a last sighting on 2026-07-22, so the span is at least 251 days. That record carries only 2 observations in total and sits in the backfilled layer, so what happened between those two points is unobserved: the posting may have stayed up throughout, or come down and been relisted. The honest claim is the span, never “it was up for 251 days”. Records with too few observations are not named: two sightings are not enough to name a company under this heading. The data cannot say why a posting stays up, but “how long is normal” now has a checkable baseline.
- 3.Weight of public institutions: public universities, public healthcare and government bodies together account for 6 institutions and 18 observed postings, about 15% of all observations. That is the ledger-wide figure; the Singapore and Hong Kong share is 5 institutions and 17 postings, and the board above only lists those with two or more observations, so it sums to less than this. Among the steady buyers of sustainability skills, the public and education sector deserves continued tracking.
Data licensing: a roadmap, not a price list
Behind this board sit two ledgers accumulated daily: a posting-lifecycle ledger (fingerprints, first/last seen, multi-link events) and a salary-disclosure ledger (row-level, traceable bands). What institutional users care about is the full time series, the employer mapping table, and column-level definitions.
Contracts open in 2027, and only once the gate is met: 300 or more listed entities covered as direct employers, and 24 or more months of daily observation accumulated. Until then nothing is sold, nothing is quoted, nothing is charged. The current depth is printed honestly below.
Listed-entity coverage (direct employers): 18 / 300
Daily-observation depth: 4 weeks / 104 weeks (24 months)
The sample pack is a real file: 10 employer rows, a column-by-column data dictionary, and the data layers with known limitations, all stated as they are. Its header is explicit about one thing: employer names and tickers are not printed in it, but that is not anonymisation, and every value can be matched back to the named table above. Inspect the goods first; leave an email only if you want to.

Scope and methodology
- 1.The revealed-preference logic: commitments are free; posting a job with a printed salary is not. What an institution is willing to pay for a function, and how much, is harder evidence than any sustainability narrative. This page measures that act of bidding, not employer quality.
- 2.Two ledgers: the posting-lifecycle ledger comes from daily automated revisits (running since 2026-07-21, covering Singapore salary-disclosed postings plus manually filed observations; earlier records are backfilled head-and-tail points, see the data-layers note at the top); the salary ledger only accepts figures printed verbatim on the posting. Counts are what we saw, not the whole market, so employers should not be compared head-to-head.
- 3.The listing map is a hand-maintained table (data/companies_map.json), inspectable line by line. Subsidiaries carry their parent’s ticker; anything uncertain is marked private with a note, never guessed. Agency attribution limit: the party paying for the role is the unnamed end client, not the agency, so a ticker on an agency row identifies the intermediary itself and an anonymous client’s posting is never counted as a hiring signal for any ticker.
- 4.“Last 30 days” runs back from the latest sweep date, counted by the day we first observed each posting; the monthly report uses calendar months starting on the 1st. Both definitions coexist and are labelled, so the two numbers on this page differ because they measure different things.
- 5.Corrections: a wrong mapping or classification goes to mri@ahamoment-career.com; verified corrections are made within 5 working days with a note left on the page.
What this page is not
- Not investment advice. The listed tickers here exist only so you can look a company up yourself. They are not a view on buying or selling any security, and nothing here forecasts any company’s operations or share price.
- Not an ESG rating. This page scores nothing, ranks no one better or worse, and passes no judgment on any institution’s sustainability performance. It counts one thing: who posted green-collar roles, and whether they printed the salary.
- Not a carbon credit rating. This site does not evaluate any carbon project, any methodology, or any rating agency.
