About this site and its author
This site observes public salary-disclosed green-collar job postings in Singapore every day, files Hong Kong and UK records manually at uneven frequency, and turns those observations into data you can cite. Before asking you to trust a number, you are entitled to know who produced it, how he earns a living, and where his bias sits. This page answers those three questions.
Who I am
I am Michael. Over seven years in sustainability, across consulting, corporate sustainability and carbon markets, based in Singapore.
I am not an accountant and I have never signed off on a financial statement or run a financial audit. Everything on this site touching assurance, greenhouse-gas inventory or disclosure is quoted line by line from primary regulation and regulator announcements, not offered as a licensed professional opinion. Where a claim has no source link, it means I have not verified it yet, not that the link was left out.
How this site makes money
One line: only things that consume my personal time are charged for, and everything else is free. That is not positioning, it is the single boundary this site runs on, and it is the rule I use to reject my own monetisation ideas.
- The only paid items are two services (Offer and path read, MBA story teardown). The prices are printed on the services page, and what they buy is my time.
- Every data product and every piece of written knowledge is free today, including the posted-salary index, the posting observatory, the Singapore and Hong Kong green hiring pulse, the EP hiring radar, the EP salary floor explorer, the Asia disclosure timing map and the dual-carbon export kit.
- Plan cards marked 2027 on the data pages are demand tests, not products. This site has no payment facility. Pressing one charges nothing today and could not charge you if it tried.
- The path to paying is fixed: add me on LINE, book one free 30-minute call, I say the price and the scope out loud on that call, then you decide. No self-serve checkout, no subscription.
- Employers cannot buy a number. Paid visibility buys placement, never a statistic, a ranking or a definition. No exceptions. It is written into the employer rules page.
What this site states plainly that it will not do
These exist so you can catch me breaking them. If any page contradicts one, write to me and I will fix it.
- No recruitment agency work. No submitting your CV for you, no referrals, no placement fee from any employer.
- No carbon credit ratings, and no evaluation of any carbon project or any rating agency.
- No investment advice, no ESG ratings, no view on buying or selling any security. Listed tickers appear only so you can look the company up yourself.
- No legal, tax or immigration advice. Where a question turns on those, I tell you who to ask and which government page holds the original text.
- No promise of an offer, a salary or any interview outcome.
- No statistic is ever changed because someone paid, claimed a page, or wrote in to object.
Corrections and complaints
If you believe any figure or sentence here is wrong, write to me with the version you believe is correct and a source I can check. I confirm receipt within 48 hours, correct verified errors within 5 working days, and leave a correction note on the page.
