Methodology
This page lays out every rule the radar runs on. One principle throughout: state only what public data can verify, cite an official source and verification date for every figure, and print the honest n when the sample is small.
Filter rules
- 1.Data source: the green-collar salary ledger (data/salary_index.db) written by this site’s daily posting sweep of MyCareersFuture endpoints and posting pages that are reachable without a login. All of it is public information; nothing comes from behind a login.
- 2.Denominator: observations in the Singapore market, in SGD, on a monthly period, with a posted salary type (the figures the employer printed on the vacancy) and a salary floor present. Annual and hourly figures and other markets stay out of this table.
- 3.“At threshold”: the posted salary floor is at least S$5,600. Why this value: it is the lowest rung of the whole EP qualifying-salary scale (non-financial, age 23 or below), which makes it the most permissive reading; the bar rises with age and financial services has a higher scale, and since sector classification is MOM’s call, not ours, everything is measured against the non-financial entry rung with the financial scale printed alongside.
- 4.“At any age” column: the posted floor is at least S$10,700, the value at age 45 and above, meaning the posting clears every age rung before 2027.
- 5.Employer grouping: names are merged after normalisation (dropping suffixes like Pte and Ltd and bracketed notes), the same formula as the salary index. Agency postings sit under the agency’s name; where the ledger records an end-client note it stays in the name.
- 6.Posted band: from the smallest posted floor to the largest posted ceiling among the employer’s at-threshold postings. It is the range of the employer’s asking prices, not anyone’s actual pay.
- 7.Function mix: the output of this site’s own six-way green-collar classifier (carbon and environmental commodities, climate tech, compliance and disclosure, corporate sustainability, ESG consulting, sustainable finance), not MOM’s industry classification.
- 8.Sample bias: the ledger only holds salary-disclosed green-collar postings, and vacancies exempt from FCF advertising (fixed monthly salary of S$22,500 or more, firms under 10 employees, short-term roles, local transferees, intra-corporate transfers) never appear on MyCareersFuture at all. The numbers describe the visible, salary-disclosed slice of the market, not the whole of it, and employers should not be compared head-to-head on them.
- 9.Honest-n principle: every row prints its sample size. Denominator, numerator and employer counts are printed exactly as the ledger holds them, with no extrapolation.
The graded line is worked out on another page
Rule three above, that the bar rises with age so everything here is measured against the most permissive rung, is a choice about this table rather than a description of any reader’s situation. The graded line has a page of its own: same salary-disclosed ledger, enter an age and a sector, and it prints the minimum qualifying salary at that age, how many postings could legally hire you on posted floors alone, and the same pair of numbers under the raised floors from 1 Jan 2027. Its own method page carries the caliber and the sources.
The official framework in brief
EP assessment is two gates in sequence: gate one checks the fixed monthly salary against the minimum qualifying salary; gate two is the COMPASS points framework with a 40-point pass mark. This site’s table maps postings against the entry value of gate one only. COMPASS weighs the candidate’s and employer’s overall profile, which public posting data cannot reconstruct, so this site offers no gate-two judgment on any posting or employer.
Sources and verification dates
Every threshold figure below defers to the mom.gov.sg page as of the stated date. MOM reviews these annually; re-check before citing.

Announced increase: from 1 Jan 2027 new applications face S$6,000 to S$11,500 (non-financial) and S$6,600 to S$12,700 (financial services); for renewals, applies to passes expiring on or after 1 Jan 2028

COMPASS points framework (stage two of the two-stage assessment): 40 points to pass; C1 salary against local PMET salary benchmarks in the sector (65th percentile scores 10, 90th scores 20), C2 qualifications, C3 nationality diversity, C4 support for local employment, plus bonus points for Shortage Occupation List roles (C5) and strategic economic priorities (C6); exempt at S$22,500+ fixed monthly salary, for overseas intra-corporate transferees and for roles of 1 month or less

Fair Consideration Framework: before most EP applications the vacancy must be advertised on MyCareersFuture for at least 14 consecutive days; exemptions cover firms under 10 employees, fixed monthly salaries of S$22,500 and above, roles of 1 month or less, local transferees and intra-corporate transfers

Disclaimers
- This site aggregates publicly posted salary information only. It is not immigration, legal, tax or career advice.
- No row of this table says that an employer has applied for, or is willing to apply for, an EP for anyone, nor that any application would succeed. EP applications are assessed case by case by MOM under the two-stage framework; this site plays no part in that assessment.
- The thresholds change: the increase for new applications from 1 Jan 2027 is already announced, and MOM reviews its benchmarks annually. Check mom.gov.sg on the day before acting.
- Incomplete coverage biases the numbers downward: this site only sees salary-disclosed green-collar postings. When citing this page, cite the sample sizes and the methodology with it.
